Mr. Sweeney has over thirty (30) years’ experience in the civil engineering industry as an Resident Field Engineer / Construction Inspector. David graduated from the College of Trades and Technology in St. John’s with a Civil Engineering Technology diploma in 1978. He also holds a diploma in Food Technology from the College of Fisheries, St. John’s. He is responsible for on-site inspection to ensure compliance with contract plans and specifications, certification of contractor’s payment claims, and acts as liaison between client and contractor, contractor and surveyor, municipal authority and client etc. Some of the most recent project he has been involved with are Westfield Condominiums, Field Power Centre, Manuels River Hibernia Interpretation Centre, Fortis Building Office Tower, Dirty Brook Emergency Overflow Diversion and the Galway/Glencrest Land Development Project.
