Project Description & Scope
The redevelopment of the school required the complete reconstruction of the site including underground services, parking and bus lay-by facilities and landscaped areas. The renovated school was LEED certified and required a Stormwater Detention Facility in accordance with both LEED requirements and municipal policies.
Project Challenges
The school remained open and occupied during the renovations. The site work had to be strategically planned in phases to accommodate the construction activities and the ability for students and staff to access the school during construction.
