Project Description & Scope
This is a 51 lot fully serviced residential development located on the north side of Blackmarsh Road within the City of Mount Pearl. This phase of the development is comprised of two streets: Stonegate Crescent and Pembury Close. The project also included the watermain and sanitary sewer connection to Topsail Road via Blackmarsh Road, a distance of approximately 500 m.
Project Challenges
The development is located on the north side of Blackmarsh Road where existing topography has natural slopes in the order of 12%. This proved challenging in terms of controlling surface runoff and space allocation for a stormwater detention pond.
